Our environmental policy
Sustainability is the decisive premise for both the production process at Junkers & Müllers and for all of our products.
Continual new investments in the machinery park aim for energy savings and therefore the reduction of CO2 emissions. Our innovative, highly effective waste air system minimises damaging emissions. The values fall far below the limit values specified by the TA Luft. The use of substances that are damaging to health such formaldehyde, CFC, solvents and lead, cadmium and mercury compounds are completely avoided in production.
All JM products are PVC-free and certified in accordance with the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, product class IV. They also satisfy the requirements of the REACH directive. The special properties of our sun protection products help to positively influence the energy balance of a building. Our collection of fabrics offers products with optimum light and thermal reflection values for any room use imaginable. This allows costs for heating or air-conditioning to be significantly reduced. Our PVC-free screen fabrics particularly offer effective glare protection while simultaneously using natural daylight.
We also comply with our ecological responsibility after the period of use of our products. Junkers & Müllers offers a returns service for its products and ensures wise reutilisation. In cooperation with EGN - Entsorgungsgesellschaft Niederrhein mbH - the products are turned into secondary fuels and therefore represent a resource-saving alternative to fossil fuels. All JM products display the RAL quality seal for secondary fuels from the Deutsches Institut für Gütesicherung und Kennzeichnung e.V..
We optimize the internal and external disposal logistics by using a BRAMIDAN raw material press.
